What do you think is the best way to store logs?

Good day to all.
There is a server that collects logs from all nodes on rsyslog. Writes each log to its own separate file marked name.log and each node is written this way. The check arrived and they say that the logs should be written to the database.
It's not a problem to remake, but the question is for those who keep the logs. How is it correct or better if it is a separate each name.log or all in one database.
PS loganalyzer is responsible for viewing the logs
