What do you think is the best free CMS for online stores in PHP?

Hello,

The criteria by which to evaluate are as follows:
- Multifunctionality (that is, the presence of any product ratings, the best in the section, filters by catalog, etc.)
- More or less ease of development (for a developer). Something like - the elegance of the implementation of the cms itself, and so on . Otherwise,

I'm used to writing from scratch, and on freelance, everyone often wants an online store and faster and cheaper ...

OpenCart and Prestashop seem to be good reviews, but I don't know the extent of their functionality...

OpenCart and Prestashop. Everything is. There are many developers. Russian. Written in Zend, expandable.
But purely outwardly, I really like the admin panel www.cmsmagazine.ru/catalogue/cs-cart/ ))

And I prefer paid CMS. One of the reasons: you can get support in a “one window”, and not run through a bunch of forums in search of a person who will condescend to suggest how to solve this or that problem. There may be fewer developers on Amiro, but there the “entry threshold” is lower. For reasonable money and a small team (and sometimes by the forces of one developer) it is quite possible to launch a normal online store. For example, I normally do without a php programmer.

I work with Magento, yes it is long and expensive (ie very expensive), hard to learn if you have worked with php4 like scripts before. But in terms of functions out of the box and the possibility of increasing functionality, it has no equal, so there are more than enough customers.
Ps: you can’t feed your family on “fast and cheap”)))

It's paid as I understand it?
And why is it so difficult to master? I worked with bitrix once. Magento can be compared with bitrix in terms of complexity?

well, these are freelance customers :)

All my online stores are powered by Bitrix. Mainly, because of the realities of the Russian Federation - what is not a company, then 1C Accounting ... Bitrix and Accounting are friends through CSV. There are many more developers and designers than for the same Amira or UMI. I'm not talking about free CMS. I do not argue, other solutions are also good, but when it comes to someone's big money, the last thing you want to do is experiment. In addition, 1C is well-known - there is no need to convince the customer why this particular solution will be used.

I am working with ImageCMS Shop.
There is also a free open source version for ImageCMS Corporate corporate portals.

The best one is the one you are most familiar with, the setting of which is for you personally - and will be the easiest.
