What do you need to start learning programming under Mac OS X?
I want to start learning Mac OS X/Iphone programming with Object-C/Swift.
I am confident in C++. I think it will not be difficult to learn the syntax and features of development in Object-C and Swift.
Let's say I installed a hackintosh on my laptop. What's next? What software do I need to start developing for Mac OS X/Iphone? And the main question is, do I have to pay for an Apple developer license ($99/year) to start learning programming and testing my code for this platform? Please provide an explanation for this question. Thanks in advance.
