What do you need to know to apply for a Java Junior position?

Question for programmers with experience. I know the "basics" of java, this is the syntax of the language, collections, exceptions, OOP, interfaces, abstract classes, multithreading, working with files and more. I wrote a small program https://github.com/Vlad161/FileSender , but I can't find a job for a junior position. There are few vacancies, I went to 2 interviews, in one I did not like the company, and in the other, apparently I was with them. So the question is, what do you need to know to get this position? The desire to learn and develop is simply unrealistically great.
And tell me about the job search, I'm from Rostov-on-Don. I am looking for a job on hh.ru, I left my resume there, but there are no vacancies. There are no suitable vacancies in my city on linkedin either.

@Vlad161

But what about the ubiquitous phrase that Junior should only know the basics of the basics, and the rest will be taught?

From my point of view, it would be more useful to write a web service on SOAP.
Any data in the request.
The server will save requests in some database (postgres, oracle, mysql, sqlite)
Also, the public keys of clients can be stored in the database so that the server can check the client's signature in the request.

Himself from Rostov. There are almost no vacancies in Java in this city. I searched and didn't find it. Searches can be very long.
Perhaps it makes sense to look towards C # .NET. It will be easier to find him.
