What do you need to do to get a job as a systems analyst?

I am a student of the Faculty of Physics in the direction of "Information Systems", all the time I was studying that I would work as a programmer, and now I am freelancing in embedded systems. One year left to study, and then one of the teachers offered me to go to work as a system analyst, before that I had no idea about this profession. After a little googling, I realized that they earn not much less than programmers, and the profession seemed interesting: I like to communicate with people, not sit still, always do something new, during my studies I got used to a lot of information and a lot of people passing through me , and this is comfortable for me and I'm afraid that if I get a job as a programmer, this will not happen, but it seemed to me that CA does this all the time. Of course, I have one minus, I don’t like to sit for a long time for something boring, but I'm ready to overpower myself. I don't want to give up programming either. So the question is, what do I need to master in order to go to an interview? there was one course at the university, but then I was ill for a very long time, and then I passed it just to pass.

Learn systems theory, domain modeling methodologies (IDEF0, IDEF3, DFD, UML, etc.), rules for drafting terms of reference, feasibility studies. Knowledge of probability theory, analytics tools, DataMining, OLAP will not hurt.
