What do you need from the Java language for programming on Android?

I'm reading Schildt's The Complete Guide. I understand that for an android developer it is even too complete. I'm sure many of you have read this book. What parts should I pay attention to if I want to jump to android next?

I would pay attention to multithreading.
But in general, you need to study everything, because sooner or later you will come across certain aspects of java.
And ideally, set a goal, start writing a training application, and explore the topics you need along the way.
