I found that when measuring the conversion in Google Analytics registration, you can view the conversions separately for new and returning users. And I was very surprised that the registration conversions of returning users are much lower. Several questions arose about this at once:
1. Which conversion in registration will be more indicative: taking into account both new and returning users? Or just new users?
2. What do returning user registrations mean? Does this mean that users return to the site several times in order to register at some point?
ps In my case, if you look at the conversion in registration for new and returned at the same time, it turns out that the conversion in registration for women is slightly lower than the conversion in registration for men. If you look only at new ones, then the conversion in registration for women is 2 times higher than for men. How to understand all this?

Both the first and second indicators are important to you, because the primary goal is to register a user and it doesn’t matter if he did it the first time or the second (third, etc.). Both must be taken into account.
Registering a returned user means that a person went to the site, but did not register the first time, then returned and still left his data on your site (the decision to register took some time, or the site / service became more attractive and useful in his eyes).
From these data, we can conclude that women are more emotional and impulsive. The content of the pages makes them immediately leave their contacts and they do not see any obstacles in order to complete the target action.
Men, on the other hand, are more thoughtful and rational, so they look at the site several times to make the final decision on registration.
