What DNS server to use for local development?
I want the sites developed on my machine to open not at localhost:port, but at myproject.dev, etc.
And that there was a possibility of work both on http and on https.
Also to have support for dynamic subdomains.
In the Rails world, it was pow.cx , I also found an analogue of hotel , but it has problems with working together both over http and https (the developer is now sorting out the problem).
Recommend other similar utilities?
How is the variety of these utilities generally correctly called?
UPD: This utility is called DNS for local development :)
I'm developing a web application in Go. And I need to test it both on http and https.
