What development editor are you using?
Hello friends, the question that I am asking has already been raised many times, but still I am raising it for this period of time and I want to hear your comments on this.
What editor or editors do you use in development, like front-end or back-end or all together, and also why do you prefer this particular editor?
I also want to note here that I use sublime text 3 in front-end development and also sometimes coda! here recently I came across CodeTasty , I want to test what do you think about this editor if you worked, should it not be worth it?
Thanks guys in advance for your replies!

It is difficult to work productively in the editor after the IDE.
Of the IDEs, one of the best is PhpStorm/WebStorm (depending on what you need) from JetBrains.
Why? Yes, because it simply does not exist.
Everyone pulls a turnip into their garden, but in fact there is no particular difference you can write in any, it depends more on the level of knowledge and your needs, the Emmet plugin is convenient in most editors, you can install it, and there are a lot of plugins like it, but IMHO phpStorm, NetBeans, PHPDesigner is more convenient, since these are full-fledged IDEs with a bunch of goodies such as refactoring, auto-formatting according to given rules, a built-in debugger (by the way, a very handy thing), and a lot of goodies that people sometimes don’t know about, so it’s up to you to decide which one is better, but I advise make a choice according to need
Personal experience :
First on PhpDesigner,
then moved to NetBeans
, then to Sublime Text
and now to PhpStorm
I have not tried ST3, IDE yet, while I am satisfied with the functionality of ST3, I think I will not try.
Was on Brackets, moved to Visual Studio Code .
Free. Easy. Cross-platform (Win, Mac, Linux). A bunch of extensions.
Now stopped on atom. I tried sublime, comodo edit and brackets before, but it didn't work out.
For good, you need to switch to an IDE, but you are not ready to pay money yet, and it seems that atom provides everything you need.
Sitting on Notepad++ for a long time
Switched to Sublime 3 + plugins. As long as everything suits. Further it will be seen.
Sublime Text 3 and Atom But I'm using atom more and more, it's free, and is now actively developed and supported by the community.
Definitely WebStorm. Regarding him, all editors are pathetic crafts.
Looking for what.
Serious programming, with debugging, smart hints, when complex abstractions and nuances barely fit in the head and it would be desirable to have a tool that will save you from unnecessary and harmful small movements of your hands, etc. - tools from JetBrains.
Quickly code in the style of "[email protected]#k-x$%k and in production" - SublimeText / vim, depending on the GUI or the console I am now.
First there was nodepad plus
Then aptana, eclipse, sublime text 2 , and now phpstorm for over 4 years.
He's great, I'm mostly front-end. I am especially pleased with how it parses gulp.js , right there the terminal does not need to switch to the console.
But I also try other editors. I especially want to highlight brackets , its inline css editor is just magical. But for now, it's too slow.
history of my editors for 15 years:
notepad*, php editor, notepad+, sublime*, shorm, idea
* still using
