What DBMS to use?

I'm still quite a beginner.
Database: categories of images (title, category picture) and images themselves (title, description, picture)
I write on Node.js. Which DBMS should be chosen in this case? MySQL ? mongodb ?
Tried on mongodb but didn't figure out how to link categories and images.
Prompt please what it is necessary to select a DBMS. Or how to do it on mongodb ?

Subd and database are different things, you don’t need to write pictures to the database, just put their path there.
