What course on the development of Internet technologies can you recommend to a complete teapot?
I decided to fill in a wide gap in knowledge here, in the place of which there should be information about a deeper understanding of how the Internet works at all its levels, from web protocols to the physical one.
I do not undertake to assess my level of understanding, so we assume that it is generally zero (I suppose the description is "The Internet is a bunch of servers connected by cables through which your request goes to the server with the required number (IP) and returns back. It could be that whatever, in the case of websites - web pages" is inherently zero).
What can I recommend to a person who has no idea what OSI is (besides the fact that the description of 7 conditional levels of network structure is called that), routing, DNS, and the like? I tried different courses on the same Intuit, but there the training material, planned as an introductory one, is written something like this:
Multiprogramming
The next important period in the development of operating systems dates back to 1965-1975. At that time, in the technical base of computers, there was a transition from individual semiconductor elements such as transistors to integrated circuits, which opened the way for the next generation of computers, which is represented, for example, by IBM / 360.
During this period, almost all the main mechanisms inherent in modern operating systems were implemented: multiprogramming, multiprocessing, support for multi-terminal multi-user mode, virtual memory, file systems, access control and networking. During these years, the heyday of system programming begins. From the direction of applied mathematics, which is of interest to a narrow circle of specialists, system programming is turning into an industry that has a direct impact on the practical activities of millions of people.
Under the conditions of the sharply increased computer capabilities associated with the processing and storage of data, the execution of only one program at a time turned out to be extremely inefficient.
I didn't even understand half of what was written here. As a reminder, this is an introductory course (I'm assuming this, because it doesn't have a Preliminary Courses section). And now what i can do? Maybe there are materials with a simpler material? To be more precise, I would like to know about full-fledged video courses or books that will give the level of knowledge necessary for a back-end programmer.

you make a block with a radius and a shadow and play around with positioning.
Or is it just a picture.
either this SVG is drawn, if there is any other animation.
Networks for the smallest and the relevant literature there , you can listen to Karmanov at Advanced Training - his ICND1 is free, and the Knowledge Assurance program is IMHO the best thing on the Runet for self-training in Microsoft networks and server products (costs money, pays off a hundredfold).
Read Wikipedia first.
Here is every term that has come across - read the Wikipedia article. If you don't understand, read again. If you do not understand - score, read the next.
After 20-40 articles, a certain framework will develop in the head, it will be easier to read, supplementing it with new terms.
Terms to start with:
IP address, IP mask, special IP addresses, default gatewa, DNS, DHCP, HTML, HTTP, telnet, ftp, ssh, SMTP, SNMP, hosts, ping, traceroute, https, two-factor authentication .
to get the knowledge necessary for a backend programmer, you need to go to at least study for a bachelor's degree
