If we take a business card site - as a corporate site of a Microcorporation, then the design will cost from 30 to 60% depending on the variety of pages and the rest is layout + stretching (I do not take the cost of CMS into account), on average, we can assume that half is the design, and the second half of the remaining work.
And if we take a site, for example, Gazprom (we won’t look for how much money they gave for it), then it depends on the complexity of the site and the functionality of its backend, as a result, the design can take 10-30%, and the rest is development. As a rule, in large projects, both design and development never stop, only at the initial stage the design takes more time.
