Virtualization

What configuration will allow simultaneously and without brakes to work with 5 virtual operating systems?

Good all times of the day!

At work, I need to simultaneously work with 4-5 virtual OS, while a couple of dozen tabs in Chrome + other software are open in the mother OS.

At the moment I'm using Win7+VmWare, I plan to use Linux+something for virtualization.

Please help me to assemble the configuration so that:
-Everything worked absolutely without brakes
-Hardware was supported by Win7 and higher
-Hardware was supported by major Linux assemblies (Debian, Ubuntu, etc.)
-Everything worked as quietly as possible! (very important point, my head is buzzing after a working day - liquid cooling? did not see that the fans worked quietly)

Preferably specific models.

The budget is not limited.

The option with a server in the pantry is interesting, but the computer is sometimes used for playing.
From my modest experience, when working through a remote desktop, there have always been brakes, does a gigabyte link solve this problem? I don't want to compromise. There is a task to invest and get the most comfortable working and gaming environment.
Addition: in virtual operating systems there are WinXP, WinVista, Win7 - one gigabyte of RAM is allocated for each.

Deploy the virtualization host at production facilities, not at home :-)

CPU from Intel Xeon E3-1230 can be a version from 1220, 1225, but it is without hyper, cheaper than i7, but not inferior in performance, especially in virtualization
Motherboard to your taste, there is an unspoken rule in terms of cost, it should be no more than the cost and immediately consider with a hardware raid, such a wagon / ASRock Z97
On cooling: the quietness of dropsy is a myth, if you give a load, it will either take off or everything will burn out. So far, there is no better air and the choice is large. Put a normal case in mesh filters. For example, CM Storm Trooper or something more serious, with my 5 coolers in the case and one on the Cooler Master V6 processor, silence, in your case the cooler from Noctua NH-D14. Everything in the body is controlled by a kind of reobas on the body.
The PSU is either modular with control or half, in any case, with this choice, they will be very quiet (noiseless). for example Corsair RM850 or Corsair CS750M
According to the item so that without brakes:
1. if on Linux, then software raid + SSD disk(s) for caching
2. use hardware raid if such a mother is purchased + SSD caching
3. forget about show-off with ssd caching, and just build raid 5.6 or the most optimal for virtualization 10 like this: 1x128GB SSD for the system + 4x2TB Raid10 - Mega fast, mega reliable
