The point is this. There is a site that hosts a video of a webinar, which is essentially a video broadcast via Youtube. To the right of this video, there is a free space, approximately 350x350px, which must be filled with some kind of comment widget from VK, for example, or something similar, so that viewers and the broadcaster can communicate with each other. In general, this would not be a problem when using the same comments widget from VK, but it is too cumbersome. I looked towards hypercomments.com, but they are also too bulky.
At the same time, it is not necessary that it be exactly something similar to comments, it is also possible just a certain chat script, the main condition is updating information without reloading the page and compactness, so that something similar to the communication of the presenter and his public is placed in the above dimensions (the public will not much).

Here is a template for a chat widget, you can apply your own css to it and adjust the layout to suit your requirements. The whole script is about 100 lines with comments, so deep knowledge is not required.
