What causes clicks in a laptop?

On a new laptop, after a week of use, the sounds of "clicks" appeared, repeating at regular intervals (about every 5 seconds). No hard drive, SSD instead. Do I understand correctly that the issue is cooling? The fan works properly, the temperature on the sensors does not rise above 85 degrees.

There is no definite answer + depending on what kind of laptop. What kind of clicks? At least send an example or record a video. 85 degrees for a laptop is not very good (unless, of course, you are into toys or do not work in graphic editors). Macbooks at 100 are already starting to troll a lot, for example.
3 options:
1. Fan. Something might be wrong with him.
2. The motherboard may make sounds - this is normal. For example, I hear the "sound of current" when I move the USB mouse connected to the macbook via a wire through an adapter.
3. Chokes on the motherboard make sounds.
4. When connecting peripherals, some sound may appear from the motherboard (External drives, mice, keyboards, flash drives, etc.).
All poppies suffer from this. I don’t know what kind of laptop you have, but the build quality of the poppy is pretty good. So if their boards are not heavily filled with compound, what can we say about some Lenovo, for example.
