What causes autocomplete to disappear in VSCode?

Hello! When I open a small project (React + Node.js), after 5-10 seconds the autocomplete completely disappears and the editor starts to slow down. The laptop starts making noise. Who had it? Xcode (IDE) and iOS simulator are stable.
I'm already thinking of removing it and installing Sublime Text 3, never failed me.
