What can replace DRBD?
What can replace DRBD?
We have two servers in two different DCs and there is a common disk built on DRBD, it falls apart 3-4 times a week, already tired. There are suggestions how to replace other than iSCSI.
virtualization is spinning on the server
Thank you.

Just make sure the channel is thicker, otherwise it will fall apart like DRBD.
And keep in mind that it is desirable for her not to start a RAID, but to use a separate osd process for each disk.
Yesterday I found a flock, maybe it will help you.
Write cache and DRBD, it probably describes the main problem of the fall ...
Only two modes can be considered reliable when used with DRBD: directsync and writethrough. The first one does not use caching at all, i.e. always reads directly from a block device (it can be a RAID controller) and writes to a block device (it can be a RAID controller) without fail waiting for a write confirmation. The second mode uses "host cache" for reading.
Thus, the virtualization system can become catastrophically slow if you do not use physical RAID with write caching and BBU. And if you use RAID with BBU, then the virtual machine will receive a write confirmation immediately after the data is placed in the controller cache.
