I bought a new motherboard from aliexpress. Transferred my GTX960 from an old computer to a new hardware.

Vidyuha after a week of operation began to pour artifacts. Hang, crash in games, sometimes even when loading bios artifacts.

I transferred it back to the old computer and there it works without any problems.

The power supply costs 500 watts new, I took it from the dealer in the store. To put such a power supply at 500 watts is indicated in the instructions for the motherboard.

And yet, the motherboard came defective, only three of the 4 RAM slots work. It turns on only with three dies, with 2 or 4 no.

Why can this happen? Most likely, the motherboard is dead, I understand, but nevertheless, what is the logic of what is happening?

In a new motherboard, if it is damaged, there may be problems with the pci-e
power supply. If the power supplies are different, then the first one to suspect is him.
By the way, you need to choose a power supply not according to 'instructions for the motherboard (that's nonsense)', but according to the total consumption of all components, taking into account efficiency and a margin of 20% (ideally 50%, but this is now expensive), there is also a reliability class of power supplies (80 + - bronse / gold / platinu, roughly speaking, the higher it is, the less you can take the power supply, although it is more difficult there and you need to understand that the efficiency of these classes is also different) and the number of channels and power distribution over them, for example, it is not very reliable to buy a power supply designed to work with one video card, but connect two to it through adapters, even if, according to calculations, there is enough total power, but through the channels - this may not be the case (on the other hand, it can work quite reliably).
