What can cause colorless code in webstorm?

I made a new project in webstorm, I start writing code and I understand that it is completely colorless, but the code itself works. How can I fix this?

Answer 1

Either the project was not indexed, or the webstorm crashed, or the backlight was turned off.
Without screenshots, logs, an example project, installed plugins, and at least the webstorm version, it is impossible to say.
