What can be lost by abandoning component frameworks?

Today I realized that it is more convenient for me to write code (typesetting) on pure sass than when using bootstrap3. Therefore, I would postpone bs3 right now, but first, I want to know what I will lose in this case.
Suppose I am writing in sass + using gulp with its layout plugins. What won't work for me the way it works for bs3? This is in view of the fact that I will take care of the "adaptation".
Perhaps the different interpreter engines are so different that I get tired of doing the adaptation of the js code itself, and perhaps the css will also be different?
It's just that I'm making one very small ... form for the second day and still haven't been able to figure out how to properly change the bs3 styles to be my way. And then I decided to try sass out of curiosity and did it in about two minutes. And this is the first time I've done this.
I will be glad to any information that will really be on the topic.
Or something else that came to mind... I've heard a few times about pure sass frameworks. Can they replace bs3?

but first, I want to know - what will I lose in this

the ability to quickly sketch the UI of the admin panel. In general, you will not lose much, bootstrap is only good for prototyping or if you are really too lazy to make the UI yourself. Lots of ready. For admins, this is the most, and then you often have to cut something of your own.
all. You don't have the same level of knowledge as the dudes from twitter that developed TB, you don't have a huge community that makes regular bug reports and pull requests, and you are alone and you have one life.
If you need to do something that is already in the bootstrap, it's easier to include the styles of this particular component and not worry. Another thing is that you do not need to connect the entire bootstrap for this.
it depends on what you wanted to do. Let's say I don't have any particular problems with redefining styles, but I do some things right from scratch and don't try to pervert with bootstrap styles. A question of balance. If you are not satisfied with the component just a little bit - you can use the component. If it takes us quite a lot of time to change styles offhand, we either look for something more suitable or even write ourselves.
Depends on the task word.
