What can be lost by abandoning component frameworks?
Today I realized that it is more convenient for me to write code (typesetting) on pure sass than when using bootstrap3. Therefore, I would postpone bs3 right now, but first, I want to know what I will lose in this case.
Suppose I am writing in sass + using gulp with its layout plugins. What won't work for me the way it works for bs3? This is in view of the fact that I will take care of the "adaptation".
Perhaps the different interpreter engines are so different that I get tired of doing the adaptation of the js code itself, and perhaps the css will also be different?
It's just that I'm making one very small ... form for the second day and still haven't been able to figure out how to properly change the bs3 styles to be my way. And then I decided to try sass out of curiosity and did it in about two minutes. And this is the first time I've done this.
I will be glad to any information that will really be on the topic.
Or something else that came to mind... I've heard a few times about pure sass frameworks. Can they replace bs3?
