What can be installed on a tablet other than Android?

They gave me a cheap Crown micro pc-b707 tablet with Android 4.4 and A23 Cortex A7 on board.
Is it possible to put at least some kind of Linux on this modest machine instead of Android, while so that the mouse and keyboard connected via the USB hub are normally perceived.
If yes, then advise the distribution kit and give a link to the installation instructions.
PS
Just please don't offer to install linux in an SDL-type emulator, it was enough for me to install Win95 in it, it was impossible to control this squalor even with a connected mouse.

There is another option. Programs for Android such as Linux Deploy . It allows you to spin into a Linux system from a running Android. You really need root.
It should work faster than the emulator, but, of course, not like a native system)

If you want a portable computer on Linux, then look better towards the raspberry pi.
