What can be done with the available .git directory on the site?
Is it possible to somehow download the project to get other interesting data)
I used git myself, but at the level of init commit push clone.

In this folder, consider that the entire code is completely under version control with the entire history of changes.

Usually nothing. Because configuration files are excluded from version control with .gitignore files. And without them, nothing dangerous (with the exception of theft of source codes) will not work
