What books would you recommend for studying theory?

Can you recommend books that could explain how networks work / could give an initial understanding of algorithms. It would also be nice if these books were written in simple language. I'm just learning to code. Thanks in advance

Networks for the smallest is a very cool series of articles on Habré. If you come across something incomprehensible, then immediately google it.
You can also find this book in the public domain and read. Quite simply everything is explained.

In simple terms - it is written in Wikipedia.
Everything else is derivative material.
