What books would you recommend for a beginner to learn Pascal?

I decided to learn Pascal, so that later it would be easier to learn java and C ++, advise books.

There is a book from the creator of the language Niklaus Wirth:
But pure Pascal is not enough to teach the meaning, it is better to have a specific modern implementation of it: Delphi (there are a lot of books, it’s hard to single out something) or FreePascal ( Free Pascal and Lazarus: Programming Tutorial )
The language is pleasant to learn and understand, but little practical application. It makes sense to study only if you have to use it in a specific project ...

I advise you to immediately learn C / C ++ or Java. Pascal is a waste of time, they forced me to learn at a university (paired with delphi), for 4+ work in development, that knowledge was never useful, you can learn cycles / variables / lists / io / algorithms in the "java and C ++" you voiced and there is nothing terrible about them.

Lightweight doesn't mean effective. Moreover, their syntax does not intersect anywhere.
