Hello!
Engaged in manual testing of games. There is no technical background for development. I decided to get a job as a tester / test engineer - whatever. But games are out of the way. Therefore, most vacancies require knowledge of automated testing and the ability to work with SQL databases (basically basic knowledge). On the Internet, of course, there are many sources, but I would like to know the authoritative opinion of geeks. Throw sane books / resources on which everything is chewed from 0.
Preferably without "SMS and overpayments".

"Learn SQL" by O'Reily is fine.
Not much academicism, normal presentation and all that.
