What books to learn technical English?
Hello everybody!
My English level is pre-intermediate (I don't know specific terms). In the vast majority of vacancies (it-sphere) they write that English should be at the level of "reading technical literature".
- What does this level mean?
- And how to achieve it as quickly as possible? According to what textbooks, books, dictionaries, methods, etc.???
Please help!!!

it was like, from school - vocabulary replenishment, a lot, a lot, a vocabulary ...
then the use of all this in the translation of texts, better online, in case of difficulty - a dictionary and memorizing a new word. many, many translations, in your case - technical articles, books by foreign authors on topics of interest, programming languages, technologies.
words + translations = technical English will be at a good level.
grammar, understanding of conversations, communication - this is only later, if there is such a need - such as communication with foreign partners or customers .... implementation of international projects .... and so on. with experience you will grow, your vocabulary will grow, and when communicating with native speakers, you will both understand and speak. later you will read books without thinking about translation. After all, you will read the English text already, understanding the meaning. like in Russian - where even the proyadok bkuv in words is not so vzhan, since it’s clear that it’s scribbled, the brain honors not with letters, but with orbazes already
"reading technical literature" - means that you may not know the spoken language, or you may not be able to conduct business correspondence, but if you read the documentation, you can not only read and translate using Yandex.Translate, but also understand what is being said.
