What books are good on algorithms and data structures?

I came to web development without a higher education in programming and little experience. For further development, I would like to better understand programming.

About Cormen and Knut complete crap. You will get confused in a ton of material and theory.
Take "Algorithms: an introduction to development and analysis" by Ananiy V. Levitin or A.V. Aho "Data Structures and Algorithms" or "Sorting and Searching Recipe Guide" by Thomas Neiman or Skiena S. "Algorithms. Design Guide". Osilivaetsya for 2-3 weeks of reading at night. Then decide if you want to go deeper or not. Here the calculation is that algorithms come "from below", from mathematics, and not from above from "it became interesting".
