What book would you recommend to parents for teaching computers?
Parents, older people, want to learn how to work at a computer, "crawl on the Internet" and download files. I have some knowledge - for example, they can type text in word :)
I want to find a normal, adequate book so that it is written in an understandable language what and how to do.
They will not read this book - I need it. I will try to explain to them the same way as it is written in the book. What matters most is where to start. After all, if you give a stupid algorithm - right-click - save - removable disk - okay, there will be no understanding of how it works.
Help out :)

ABC of the Internet
The textbook was prepared and published by PJSC Rostelecom and the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation with the support of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Russian Federation.
Do they need understanding or skill? Zillions of people drive cars with no understanding of how ICE works, only on skills that were first passed on by the instructor and then fixed. If your parents are far from technology, then they do not need understanding - they have enough skill - they opened a browser, clicked there, clicked here ...
Immediately install a good antivirus - do you have Windows? - straightaway! It is these people who open "letters from the tax office", download "computer accelerators" and do a bunch of other nonsense. If possible, allocate a separate computer for them, where there is no significant data, there are no client banks, there is nothing that could be stolen.
And once a month, arrange a "sanitary day" with a computer check with a free version of the anti-virus scanner
