What book to give a web programmer?

I want to give a friend something useful for the DR. The book, in my opinion, is a very useful gift. He is a web programmer. I can't say that I'm completely new, but there are some tangible gaps in terms of standards, rules for writing code, etc. I came across the Perfect Code book by Steve McConnell, but I'm not sure if it's suitable for a web programmer. Please advise if it will fit or look at something else? Thank you!

In fact, programmers don’t have to give programming books at all) Usually they can choose what they need for themselves, it’s better to give something else from a related field, for example, such a set )

Only her translation into Russian is terrible, but the book is good and useful.

You can ask a person what book to give him or just donate money

Web programmer - Well, I will advise you a book on php, and he programs in c# or RoR. More specifically, it is necessary, more specifically))
In general, give him a better mouse or keyboard with macros. All the time (although I had them) I didn’t use their potential at work, but after thinking it over and making a couple of macros, it made my life much easier) And of course, speed. Banal example <div class=""></div>for 1 button :)
