As far as I remember, there is no assembler there. Generally. If you take exactly nVidia, then there is PTX, which is compiled by the graphics driver directly into machine code that is optimized and suitable for execution. In some sense for the latest nVideoa, this is assembler. There are also pseudo-assembler languages for describing shaders, and so on.
Dig into the documentation, maybe you'll find something... And yes, don't take my word for it.
