What are you programming for?

I've always been interested in why people program. For example, I see no reason to learn programming in order to work for someone. As dumb as it sounds, here's my solution. I study PL in order to create my own project, to realize my idea

People code because they are too lazy to do routine work. A real programmer at the sight of any action represents its program code (algorithm).
A programming language is just a translation of an algorithm to work in a particular system.

I'm lazy, I like automation.
Even in this situation, in the conditions of the market, you will work for someone. Of course, unless you create an undisputed monopoly.

What difference does it make what you do it for? If you like work - do it. For me, programming is a way to make good money. I haven't had that big buzz in a long time. Yes, there are interesting projects, there is a routine. If you still have a spark of an idealistic attitude towards this work, take care of it with all your might.
