People code because they are too lazy to do routine work. A real programmer at the sight of any action represents its program code (algorithm).

What difference does it make what you do it for? If you like work - do it. For me, programming is a way to make good money. I haven't had that big buzz in a long time. Yes, there are interesting projects, there is a routine. If you still have a spark of an idealistic attitude towards this work, take care of it with all your might.
For myself - this is a hobby - this is a future job - this is a chosen profession -
