What are transport information systems?

I am looking for transport information systems of different countries, well, or at least foreign cities.
A la Yandex.Transport , Citymapper .
Are there any interesting data sources/APIs that serve as the basis for such services?

There is a site made on the basis of the German GPS system for transport.
the file contains all the necessary data for the selected city. If you change the URL a little, you can get to other German cities.
The data itself merges the onboard GPS on transport into a single city center
