What for? Indeed, why? There are questions about where to start - symfony.com and documentation. We need a translation of the documentation - so it is (albeit slightly outdated). It's easy to estimate the size of the community - well, there are groups on all sorts of linkedin. There are a lot of conferences dedicated to symfony.
For everything else, there is stackoverflow.
