What are the tools for designing and maintaining test cases (and test documentation in general)?

Good afternoon!
We use fat to create, store and use test cases.
Due to the growth of the functionality and, consequently, the number of test cases, there were difficulties in maintaining test cases and creating new ones.
The question is: what are the test case design tools and their maintainers that integrate well with fat? (preferably free)

Depends on what you mean by "test case design" and what you expect.
Describe the functionality that you need, based on this it will become clear.
Right off the bat, I can only offer an addon for the zephyr fat, which somewhat simplifies and ennobles the process of writing and passing tests, separating them into a separate entity and adding a couple of other goodies.
+ It is worth looking in the direction of various test management systems such as TestRail, TestLink, HPQC and others.
There are quite a few of them, both paid and free.
