What are the risks of changing from front-end developer to C#/.NET developer?
Hello!
I've been doing front-end development for two years now. Some time ago I realized that I want to change the field of activity. Having studied other directions a little, I chose .NET for myself. One hundred percent has already decided on the choice, I began to study algorithms, PC architecture, and the operation of the OS and continue to learn English, I also developed a rough plan for which I will study C # / .NET.
I understand that the salary level will decrease, since you need to move to the junior position, this does not scare me. What are the risks associated with the transition? I am 24 (the main reason why I asked this question), and sometimes it seems to me that age can scare away employers, or am I mistaken?
