What are the key advantages and disadvantages of Drupal 8 compared to Drupal 7?

Drupal 8 is currently in development in beta testing and I would like to see if it is possible to start using it on a permanent basis instead of Drupal 7.

Even the upgrade path from the beta doesn't work there. Those. the next beta may refuse to work with the current database schema. It will be possible to start working in the year 2016. There is only one advantage - a new code base.
