What are the implemented algorithms for solid state physics, in particular the strength of materials?
Hello!
Interested in the topic of simulation of the resistance of solids. Who knows any implemented algorithms for solid state physics, in particular the strength of materials?
The other day I saw a video on YouTube where a 3D model of a beam is tested for strength, and the program showed the places where stress accumulates in it. I want to do something like this, only in 2D.

You can try looking at Farseer Physics Engine . This is a physics engine in C#, the source code of which is freely available. For "see code examples" it seems to me just right. I have used it in conjunction with XNA.
There are examples of models in Matlab and Femlab . Differences in textbooks on sopromat. Or do you need code in some language?
