Interested in the topic of simulation of the resistance of solids. Who knows any implemented algorithms for solid state physics, in particular the strength of materials?
The other day I saw a video on YouTube where a 3D model of a beam is tested for strength, and the program showed the places where stress accumulates in it. I want to do something like this, only in 2D.

You can try looking at Farseer Physics Engine . This is a physics engine in C#, the source code of which is freely available. For "see code examples" it seems to me just right. I have used it in conjunction with XNA.
