What are the image compression libraries?

I tried to run images using PIL with the optimize parameter . The results are not very good. Tried lowering quality up to 65% - for some images there is still an imperceptible reduction in size, despite the fact that the reduction in quality is already noticeable. The same images were passed through tinypng in most cases, the result is at least 30-40% better with an almost imperceptible loss in quality. Are there any other image compression options besides PIL?
