I'm working on a discount aggregator. The project is personal, but with plans for monetization. The contribution to the promotion is still zero, the site just hangs in the public.
The essence is quite simple - to collect disparate data on discounts in retail chains and display them in a single format, with easy navigation. According to the scheme of work, he resembles the well-known Edadil, but this is not his copy.
As far as I know, search engines have a negative attitude towards such aggregators, because. they copy data from other sites. But I'm not going to stupidly copy everything, my task is more about reformatting, grouping data. In addition, I plan to fill the site with unique articles. I do not set myself the goal of making money on this project in a quick or easy way. I like working with data, I want to improve in this business. And the project, as I expect, will bring additional passive income, working mainly in automatic mode.
What difficulties will I have to face, what should I focus on in promotion? What are the specifics of promotion in search engines for aggregators?

I do not think that you will be able to collect decent traffic on your subject from search engines. You need other promotion channels.
If you still want to collect crumbs of traffic from the PS, then don’t worry about the “aggregator” site type, Yandex, like Google, is pretty good at aggregators and mixes them into relevant results.
Pay more attention to the semantics and elaboration of titles, and to the user-friendliness of the site.
