What are the currently developing programming languages?

Hello! I myself study the layout of sites (pages), i.e. about a month or less. I study, look and understand that all this is not enough, I need some kind of language besides html + css. Yes, there is javascript, there is php. But I would like to know about those languages that are just gaining momentum, becoming popular. Why don't I look in the direction of php? Because it is inconvenient for him, and I have read a lot about him. There is js, but it is also too popular. I would like to know about such languages that will be useful in the future and are flexible enough in themselves. I myself know for sure that there is Python and RoR.

is ruby something developing and gaining momentum? he passed his peak of popularity, just like the python. The fact that you have read about php without working with it also does not mean anything. All these are just tools, each of which is good in its own field.
If we talk about languages that are gaining popularity, then these are dart, golang, etc.
ps RoR is a framework, not a language. And I wouldn't recommend using it. There are many good frameworks for ruby, but RoR is not needed.

In your case, I recommend that you still learn JavaScritp. On the Node.js server, on the Angular.js client

I myself know for sure that there is python and RoR.
These are one of the most popular languages in the world. By the way, python is usually used in teaching programming.
