What are the consequences to expect if you connect a 4-pin cooler to a 3-pin processor?

Hello, the bottom line is that in my "CoolerMaster MasterCase Maker 5t" case there is a fan control unit on the back, and there are only three pin connectors, and on my "CoolerMaster MasterAir MA610P" cooler there is a 4 pin wire for connecting fans. If I connect a 4-pin to a 3-pin, what are the consequences? Or will everything go smoothly? I just can't test it right now as I'm waiting for other parts to build, I just want to be pre-prepared for everything.

None. Everything will work. The speed control via PWM will simply not work, which is not supported by this unit
