What are the benefits of migrating sites from shared to cloud hosting (DigitalOcean, AWS etc.)?

Hello!
Does it make sense to transfer about ten of your own and client sites from relatively cheap shared to cloud hosting? Sites - nothing outstanding, just business cards basically.
Will I win in terms of performance, price or something else?
I have no admin experience, but there are prospects for increasing client projects.
Sites on php+mysql (in perspective Symfony2, Prestashop).
Thanks for the constructive advice!
PS admin experience is also a plus for me, along with the rest of the moments

If everything works - why fix it?
With AWS, you will drown in the settings, there were no complaints with DO. Because of the exchange rate, it has become more expensive, but it is everywhere abroad.
Prices are somewhere lower, somewhere higher. Yes, you can do it very cheaply, but what if there is a HabraEffect? Who will pay then?)
About performance. Do you have business cards, etc. You don't need cloudfront, s3 and many other joys.
You will definitely lose if, due to sanctions, providers are forced to cancel contracts with users from Russia. Yes, you can backup, make a quick move, and so on. The question is why?
