What are the advantages of Oracle DBMS over MySQL, PostgreSQL?

I crossed yesterday on the road with one programmer. He began to quite emotionally rub that MySQL is for schoolchildren and notepads, and for pros only Oracle. Your opinions are curious, what is EXACTLY the advantage of this DBMS over MySQL and PosgreSQL. Is it really only Oracle professional? Or just a subjective opinion?

If without a holivar, then it is always the same advantage - because. If you pay money, then you have the opportunity to call support 24/7 and ask why the DBMS server does not start after your manipulations with it. Of course, there is EnterpriseDB for postgres , and these are pretty serious guys, so everything rests, as always, on experience and trust. Oracle is a huge investment in engineering solutions, many years of experience in supporting around the world, and other things. As well as some DB2, which is also 40 years old.
When you store data worth several million dollars in your database, little things that are not visible at first glance become important - the reliability of recovery after failures, the debugging of backup and recovery procedures, the cost and efficiency of scaling, and 1000 and one more thing.

MySQL is for schoolchildren and notepads
and also for WoT tanks, where wargaming stores 400 GB of user data
// though not in the muscle, but in mariDB And
Yandex is moving away from Oracle to postgres, since Oracle does not provide its sources, and they really want to see why everything slows down for them

generally very cautious about the concept

Both Mysql and Oracle and MSSQL and Postgres are professional databases.
Professionalism lies not in the complexity of the tools used, but in the adequacy of their use.
If I have the task of putting up a business card site, then any professional will say that Oracle is not needed for this.
If I have the task of writing warehouse accounting in the MS environment in C #, I will probably prefer MS SQL.
Any professional will not take a truck to go to the movies if there is a Ford. And the professional solution is to take the right tools for the right tasks. At the same time, the truck is no worse and no better than the Ford, they have different weight categories.
And you already need to compare the technical characteristics and requirements in detail. So the friend is wrong.

Too subjective opinion, but do we use oracle at work? =)))

Let's start with the fact that Oracle DB is a paid solution (hence Oracle will put all its efforts into this project), and MySql is free (Open Source). Oracle DB has a procedural language Pl/Sql that allows you to process data at the database level. MySql also has this, but it is not at the same level as in Oracle DB. + to everything around Oracle DB the whole infrastructure is created.
