What are the 3D printing services in Moscow?
Good day!
I had the task of creating a spot welding machine like this . I assembled the device itself, the question of designing the “welding tweezers” remained. You can use improvised tools such as a stapler, but I want to do everything beautifully. The idea was to 3D print the body of the tweezers. Accordingly, the question arises where and how? Has anyone used 3D printing services in Moscow and / or can give recommendations where to go? I would like the part to be made of sufficiently strong plastic so that it does not crumble from compression in a fist. And the second question - in which 3D editor is it better to draw a sketch of the part itself?

I think you're overcomplicating everything. The problem can be solved by ordinary plastic injection . I do not think that it will be much more expensive than 3D printing, with much better quality.
In Shatura (Moscow region) there is an institute of IPLIT RAS, where parts are made by building up from a photopolymer. It turns out pretty solid.

question is how strong the spring will be in the tweezers.
In terms of software, Rhino 3D may seem convenient. This is a kind of hybrid of CAD and a "classic" three-dimensional editor. For engineering modeling, it is more than suitable. He, in which case, knows how to output STL.
You can see examples of work, for example, here: www.youtube.com/user/SUDesignWorks?feature=watch
Files for 3D printing are used in the *.stl format, you can draw everything in Max or in compass / CAD, and then cut it into layers using a converter and convert it to the desired format. Some offices, as far as I heard, can convert the model themselves. Look at the robotic forum, there are also ISTC, SKB Kiparis, etc.
