What are OpenSource Android Application Projects?

Tell me what are the interesting Open Source projects of Android applications. I have little experience in developing Android applications in Java, but I would like to gain experience working in a team on interesting projects.
I know English at the level of reading technical documentation, so for starters I want to participate in a project where Russian-speaking programmers mainly participate.

The open source apps I use are: Open Camera, K-9 Mail, OsmAnd+, Firefox for Android (probably not Java), VLC, Barcode Scanner.
