What are flexible/customizable CMS?
Tell me what CMS are similar in their logic to Silverstipe (and possibly Modx).
What do I need from a CMS?
- The ability to customize the CMS backend for the end user, so that it would be convenient for him to use it.
-- Namely, I liked one feature in WP in the menu on the left, you can add your own items to which the user adds content, and they can be displayed in any part of the site (I know very little about ModX, but as far as I know, the entire structure of the site and all the content is configured in one tree, I also didn’t find such a feature in Silverstripe, but I’m just starting to get acquainted with it)
- or let’s say in the content editor (page), you can add what additional blocks you need to display and edit the content of these blocks.
-- The end user does not need to edit the HTML code through the admin panel, and there is no such possibility in principle (as in Silverstipe )
- the site can be built without using static blocks (Webasyst, I have not seen a site on this CMS without using static blocks)
- Easy to create templates like on frameworks, or like on Silverstripe (I can’t make friends with the same WP and Drupal)
- Using template engines (but not Smarty)
- CMS is written according to the MVC principle
In theory, Silverstipe suits me quite well, but it feels like the project is slowly dying, and there is no way to add custom items to the side menu of the CMS backend (Maybe I'm wrong of course)
It doesn't matter if it's paid or free.
ps I did projects on Laravel, I really liked it, and it’s very nice to work on it, but in order to quickly raise a site on it, with a user-friendly interface, you need a normal CMS face for it, which unfortunately doesn’t exist yet, or write the face yourself.

Any CMS in the opinion of its developer and programmer making sites on this engine is the most flexible, the most customizable, the most.
Take the one you know best and do it on it.
The only thing I would not recommend is to use something very rare, like the same Silverstipe.
I propose to work with magnolia-cms https://documentation.magnolia-cms.com/display/DOCS
A lot of ready-made functionality just like website cms: versioning, endorsement, multisites.
Редактирование страницы в виде набора блоков тоже есть.
I have been trying to understand for a long time what CMS can be the most ideal for writing a website, and you know, everyone has different opinions. I read on the forum https://forum.okay-cms.com and found out about the cons of Joomla, which is very easy to hack, and let's say the well-known Drupal is not very easy to use for people with little experience in this area.
Many of the features you describe can be found in the APIQ CMS .
Except:
