What are backend integration points?

I was given a test task that I need to complete in order to be invited for an interview. The test task consists of several layouts that need to be made up, and some interactive elements need to be added to these pages. One of the prerequisites for completing this task is the placement of integration points with the backend. I would like to know what those dots are. And, secondly, how and in what places should these points be placed? The image below shows the full text of this condition for the test task.

This is not common terminology.
It's better to ask them.
I've been programming for over 30 years and about these "integration points" I can only assume that it means to concentrate API calls in one place.
