What application to make in Java?

I have been studying java for about two weeks on hexlet, javarush, and reading Schildt. There is one theory, and now I wanted to ask what application to make, so that later I can safely show it to an interview.

You can write a lot of all sorts of interesting things, parsers of some sites, working with the API of different sites, and so on. You can try to write a service for posting tweets on a schedule (for example).
PS
After a course on Hexlet, it's not really possible to write something. I went through it myself, even before processing.
Actually I ran into this problem. There is a huge gulf between the Hexlet course, Schildt's book and the development of a real web project. I read "Java. Beginner's Guide" in it there is almost no word about the web, there is only about applets. I can advise the course of Ivan Golovach (GolovachCourses on YouTube), the author has 2 free courses on YouTube: Java Core and Java Junior (several options for Java Junior). In Java Core, I learned a lot more useful about collections and so on. The Java Junior course covers JDBC, Log4j, Maven, HTTP, Servlet API, TTD, Hibernate and Spring.

Do what you will use later. At the same time, motivation, in addition to "in the resume."

Try to decide what exactly you want to write in Java. It can be android development, backend, enterprise, etc.
After choosing a direction, come up with an interesting task for yourself and work on it while studying the theory in parallel.
