What am I doing wrong in setting up a web server?

Good afternoon.
I set up a web server as shown on this site https://www.8host.com/blog/ustanovka-veb-servera-a...
But when I open the example.com link, I go to some site with the text Example Domain This domain is etc. but when i open localhost i get a site with my code. What to do?

example.com is a real Internet domain that has its own website, which you get to. If you want to set up a transition to your internal site on your machine in response to example.com, you need to configure the hosts by entering the address and the corresponding ip (127.0.0.1)
