Don't think that MacBooks use a super-secret heavy-duty alloy - these are all marketing chips :-)

Did you find an artist? This question can be asked to them, because 1 mm is not so much. There are different aluminums, for example, there is a very good aviation alloy B95 or B95T1. There are D16, D16T. I think all of them will cope with your task.
